Score your business

A free check of your business as the internet sees it: whether people can find you, whether their message reaches you, whether a stranger trusts what they see, and whether you are inside the rules. One number out of a hundred, written up in plain English, with every fix spelled out so you, or whoever looks after your website, can do it without us.

Read from the outside only. Nothing is probed or logged into. By Kazap Technologies, Woolwich.

/100
and one of seven grades
Nought to a hundred, seven grades, printed as ink rather than colour. More ink means more score. Photocopy it and it still says the same thing. No traffic lights: nobody gets graded by colour here.
What it looks at

Four questions, a few dozen facts

Every report is built from the same four questions, in this order. Each fact behind them is explained on its own page, in words, and then again for your web person in theirs.

  1. Part I

    Can people find you?

Whether somebody searching for what you do, on Google or by asking an AI assistant, ends up looking at you. Most of it is decided by a short summary underneath your website that only machines read.

  2. Part II

    Will their message reach you?

A customer goes to email you at eleven at night. Whether the message arrives, and whether a criminal could send one in your name, comes down to a handful of settings most firms have never looked at.

  3. Part III

    Will a stranger trust you?

A stranger has your site open on one tab and a rival's on the next, and decides in seconds, on evidence they never consciously look at: the padlock, whether the page works for everyone, whether anybody is home.

  4. Part IV

    Are you inside the rules?

A visitor lands on your homepage and, before they have read a word, something may have started counting them. The rules on that changed in February 2026. The paperwork is small, and most of it is a page of plain sentences.

A real report

We ran it on ourselves first

Our own website, kazap.co.uk, scored 86 out of 100, a grade A, on 12 September 2026.

The report told us the same things it would tell you: what is already right, the three things worth doing this week, and what each one is worth. It also found a missing phone number and no social links, which is true, and which we had decided on purpose. A fair report says so and moves on.

kazap.co.uk · YLB Score report · 12 September 2026The top of the YLB Score report for kazap.co.uk: the masthead, then a charcoal plate with 86 out of 100, grade A, a scale showing the pass mark at 80 and the score at 86, and the verdict: you are already trusted online.

Who it is for, and who we are

Local businesses with a website and a door: the accountant, the dentist, the café, the garage, the letting agent, the salon. One area at a time, so that we know the streets, the trades and the firms your customers actually choose between, rather than guessing at them from a spreadsheet.

We are starting where we are, in Woolwich, SE18. If you are somewhere else, ask anyway: we will tell you honestly whether we can do yours yet.

About us. YLB Score is made by Kazap Technologies, a small technology firm on the Royal Arsenal since 2012, and run by its founder, Marcelo Neves. If you are in Woolwich too, you can meet the person who wrote your report rather than a ticket number.

How it works

Three steps, and a person at the second one

  1. 1

You send us your website address

An email is enough. No form, no account, no software to install, nothing to give us access to.

    Two minutes
  2. 2

We read it from the outside, then read the result

The measuring is automatic and touches nothing. Then a person reads every line of the report, and anything we cannot stand behind is cut.

A few days, not a minute
  3. 3

You get the report, and it is yours

A single page you can read on your phone, forward to your web person, or print the to-do list from. Every fix is written out in full. What you do with it is up to you.

    Free, and it stays free
How we work

Six things we hold ourselves to

  • Free diagnosis, always. The report and every fix in it cost nothing, whether or not you ever speak to us again.
  • Plain English. No technical word outside a section clearly marked as the technical version. If your neighbour could not follow it, we have written it wrong.
  • Checked by a person. The measuring is automatic. A person reads every report before it goes out, and a claim we cannot stand behind is cut.
  • No scare tactics.Nobody is graded by colour, nothing is 'urgent', and no legal figure is waved at you. The facts do the work.
  • From the outside only.We read your website the way any visitor does. Nothing is probed, nothing is tested, nothing is logged into.
  • The report phones nobody.A report is a single page that loads nothing from anyone else and sends nothing anywhere. So is this site.
What happens after

Four rungs, and the first one is free

This is the same ladder that closes every report, so it appears at the bottom here too, never at the top.

  1. 1

    You do it yourself

Every fix is written out in full, wording included, ready to hand to whoever looks after your website. It costs you nothing, and if this is where you stop we will count the report as having done its job.

  2. 2

We fix it, for a fixed price

Agreed before we start, never by the hour, and everything stays yours. If a job depends on how your site happens to be built we will say so first, because that is the one thing that turns a fixed price into an open one.

  3. 3

    We keep watching, monthly

We run this check again on a schedule and tell you when something breaks: a padlock about to expire, a policy that vanished in a redesign, a contact link that stopped working. Almost everything we find started life as something that used to be fine.

  4. 4

A deeper audit, with your written permission

Your report was read from the outside. A deeper audit tests things rather than only looking at them, and it never happens without a signed go-ahead from you. It is a different piece of work at a fixed fee, and it is last on this list rather than first for a reason.

Prices are fixed and agreed before any work starts, never by the hour. They are not published here yet; ask and we will tell you the number before you decide anything.

Questions people ask

Before you write

  • Is it really free?

Yes. The report, the score and every fix written out in full, free, and it stays free. We earn only if you ask us to do some of the work, and most people do not need to.

  • What do you actually look at?

Only what any visitor or search engine can see: your website's public pages and the public records that name your business. We do not log in to anything, we do not test for weaknesses, and we do not touch your site.

  • Will you be in touch afterwards?

Once, with the report. If you reply, we reply. If you do not, that is the end of it. No sequence of chasers, no phone calls.

  • Why would you do this for nothing?

Because a report that is honest and useful is the best introduction we could give you. Some readers fix everything themselves, and that counts as the report having done its job. Some ask us to fix a thing or two. Both are fine.

  • Is a person involved, or is it all automatic?

The measuring is automatic. Every report is then read by a person before it goes out, because a check that gets one thing wrong is worse than no check at all. That is also why it takes days rather than minutes.

  • Who is behind it?

Kazap Technologies Ltd, a small technology firm in Woolwich, registered in England and Wales in 2012, company number 08218660. YLB Score is run by its founder, Marcelo Neves. Our own address is on this page and our own report is above.

We are a small firm and we check every report by hand, so allow a few days. You will get one email with the report in it, and nothing else unless you reply.

What to expect

  1. We confirm we have it, once, within a working day.
  2. We read your website and your public records from the outside, and a person checks the result.
  3. You get a link to your report. It works on a phone, it loads nothing from anyone, and it is yours to keep and forward.
  4. If you want anything done, say which item. Sometimes the answer is that you do not need us, and we will say so.
